Services and Conditions of Use

All of our Products & Services are Fully Guaranteed, for at least three months.

Repair Services

We always strive to provide the best possible service for our customers. Please see the Warranty section below. However, we reserve the right not to repair any Disc we consider to be beyond repair.

Payment for repairs

We accept credit card and debit card payments, Paypal, cheques (with a valid Guarantee card) and postal orders. Unless paying by card, please send your payment with your Discs. Cheques and postal order MUST clear before we can dispatch your item/s.

Non-supply of goods:

In the event that we are unable to supply ordered goods, Discmender shall in no way be liable for any consequential loss incurred through delays in supply or failure to supply. No compensation shall be payable. All products are supplied subject to availability. We are not liable for any damages or inconvenience caused by actions or activities which are beyond our control including, but not limited to, lack of product availability from suppliers, damage caused through misuse or courier damage or defective manufacture of products which we supply.

Receipt of goods:
 

It is your responsibility to ensure that the person who signs for the goods is entitled so to do. We cannot be held responsible for any loss incurred once delivery to the address you have specified has been made, nor are we liable for the goods being accepted by the incorrect recipient at the receiving address. Goods must be inspected before being signed for to ensure they are the correct goods and are free from damage. If goods are signed for and then later reported damaged we reserve the right to refuse full refund based on that damage may have been caused after receipt of goods.     

Refunds, and Return of goods:
 

Goods may only be returned by specific prior arrangement and, excluding our error or if a manufacturing defect is discovered within the first 30 days, at your own cost. Goods are subject to prior inspection by either ourselves or our suppliers before any refund is given. Return of any goods that have been bought in error or are not suitable, where the buyer wishes to return them may be liable for a re-stocking fee. Also, when refunds are given, the refund will be for the value  of the goods and delivery charges cannot be refunded.

Faulty/damaged goods:

All faulty/damaged products are subject to testing prior to repair or exchange. If no fault is present then we reserve the right to charge a testing fee and to charge for return carriage

Warranty for Disc Repairs

We warranty all our work for 90 days unless otherwise stated, not parts, due to accidental damage and neglect. Our Warranty applies only to the repairs undertaken by Discmender.

In the unlikely event that the disc cannot be repaired, we will send the disc back, and no charge will be incurred, minus our postage costs. Posting the disc is at the customers own risk. Please take out insurance, if not using our collection and delivery service. We will not be held responsible for disc lost in the post. Discmender reserve the right to retain the disc if payment has not been received, until payment has been received. After 60 days the disc will be deemed to be the property of Discmender.

Accessing the Site

We cannot guarantee that the Site will operate continuously or without interruptions or be error-free. You must not attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Site and, in particular, you must not attempt to circumvent security, tamper with, hack into, or otherwise disrupt the Site or any computer system, server, router or any other internet-connected device.
 

We cannot and do not guarantee or warrant that any content of the Site will be free from infection, viruses and/or other code that has contaminating or destructive properties. You are responsible for implementing sufficient procedures and virus checks (including anti-virus and other security checks) to satisfy your particular requirements for the safety and reliability of data input and output.
 

We reserve the right, at our discretion, to withdraw, suspend or modify the Site or certain features or parts of the Site with or without notice to you, where We have reason to do so. There may also be times when the Site or certain features or parts of the Site become unavailable, whether on a scheduled or unscheduled basis. You agree that We will not be liable to you or to any third party for any withdrawal, modification, unavailability, suspension or discontinuance of the Site or any service available on or through the Site.
 

We do not accept liability for any losses or claims arising from any inability to access the Site or any failure to complete a transaction.

NEITHER THE SERVICE NOR ANY OF ITS AGENTS, AFFILIATES OR CONTENT PROVIDERS SHALL BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF USE OF THE SERVICE OR INABILITY TO GAIN ACCESS TO OR USE THE SERVICE OR OUT OF ANY BREACH OF ANY WARRANTY.
